Darkness to Light
I was going though a very difficult time
in my life in 2008. Several family members passed away, I was out of
work and so was my husband. I was in a very dark place. I was so
depressed and even God seemed far away at that time. No matter how much I
prayed it seemed as if the gates of heaven were closed and my prayers
were not going though. I struggled so much.
Thank God for His unfailing love and mercy! By the grace of God I began to draw and paint again. Even though I had not painted or drawn in years I felt compelled to start drawing and painting again. Art helped bring me out of the darkness, that was surrounding me. Since then I have not been able to stop drawing and painting! I love making encouraging cards for my church, family and friends. It brings me so much joy to be able to minister to others though my art. Life can be difficult sometimes and we all need a little encouragement now and then.
In 2012 I began selling on Etsy part time. I was mostly selling my artwork, then I started making pendants with my artwork and then began to paint glass shapes with nail polish and soon feel in love with this way of creating jewelry. Now you will find rings, necklaces, earrings, bracelets and matching sets all painted by hand.
I love discovering new techniques and trying new things. I am always adding new items to my shop. Be sure to check back often!
